MacBook Pro 2.4Ghz 15" Matte Screen - Leopard OS

I just go my MacBook Pro and I love it. I got to learn few things as well, like how to change the login screen background. Just for my future reference ;) or for anyone that will ever read this in the future here is how to do it:

Open Terminal window and type the following:

$ sudo -i
$ defaults write /Library/Preferences/com.apple.loginwindow DesktopPicture '/Library/Desktop Pictures/Black & White/Sea Mist.jpg'

This has just replaced my login background image with the same image I use as my desktop background.

I just started with the NikePlus and I thinks it's great. It motivates me and that's great. The biggest motivation is the fact that I can compete and the NikePlus website it's freaking awesome... map it, challenge, view runs and they have things like this "Share it" which makes it great for someone that it's online the entire time ;)

iPhone sales put shine on Apple share price

"Apple's stock soared to a record high today amid analyst reports that sales of highly profitable iPhones easily rocketed passed $US300 million ($A351.68 million) after its US launch.

Apple shares were up nearly five per cent, rising to $US127.17 when the New York Stock Exchange closed. The price slipped a fraction to $US126.82 in after-hours trading."

Mac Bluetooth - Internet with your BlackBerry8100

For anyone that needs to configure their Macs to connect to internet via a Blackberry8100, this is what needs to be done (thanks to Grant: http://www.fibble.org/archives/000508.html)
- useful to myself as I had to do this few times so far.


1. Download the script here. Please Right-Click and Choose ‘Save As’.
2. Copy the script into /Library/Modem Scripts.
3. If you’ve already paired your Pearl with your Mac, open Bluetooth Preferences, Select your Pearl from the list of devices and press ‘Configure…’. (If you haven’t, choose ‘Set up Bluetooth Device’ - the following dialogs will be shown after you’ve paired your phone with your Mac. Make sure your Pearl doesn’t require a password for your mac to connect to it - the ‘Trusted Connection’ option for the pairing should be set to ‘Yes’ on your phone, not ‘Ask’.)
4. Make sure ‘Access the Internet with your phone’s data connection’ is checked. Also, make sure ‘Use a direct, higher speed connection’ is selected. Click Continue.
5. In the Modem Script pulldown on the following screen, Select ‘BlackBerry 8100’. Use the following settings for the other fields, then click Continue:
* Username, Password: leave blank
* GPRS CID: *99***1#
6. Open the Internet Connect application. Select the Bluetooth icon at the top. Under Phone Number, put your APN (for T-Mobile and the BlackBerry Unlimited plan, I use wap.voicestream.com, for Cingular it’s “wap.cingular”). Type a username and password (I use guest/guest, for Cingular you’ll use “WAP@CINGULARGPRS.COM” as the username and “CINGULAR1” as the password) in the appropriate fields.
